These past few weeks my group and i have been trying to figure out how to move and design a car that will go exactly five meters. we accomplished just that.
My group and I slingshot ed a car across the ground to perfectly go five meters. You can adjust the distance the car will go by pulling it back to a certain mark on the ramp we fired it down.

Our design has many very good parts about it. One of those qualities is the tires. The tires have good grip and do not usually slide on the ground. The inside of the car easily lets the passengers get in and out with a sliding door. the car is launched forward with the ramp that makes it go exactly five meters.the further you pull it back the further it will go. On the ramp there is a mark that tells you how far to pull it back to make it go five meters. The tires make the car look cooler and make the car higher up. The passengers also fit perfectly into the seats, and the seats have seat belts. The car is built very sturdy and could keep the passengers safe from a crash at full speed. you can adjust the effort you want it to travel, that is less effort for you because the machine is doing more work.
1. The car that we built went five meters in five seconds that is not very fast but i gets the job done.
2. Our car travels at a rate of 2.5 meters per second. This is the velocity of our car.
3. The gravitational potential energy is 9.8 meters per second.
4. The kinetic energy of our car was 2.34 jewels. That was when the energy in motion was highest.
Overall our project was very fun figuring out how to make it go exactly five meters. Next time we would like to use our time better. We where one of the first groups to finish and thought that we had nothing to do. We still had days to the dead line and did not do much productive during that time.
