During this unit with my group, we were asked to design a STEM building for the school. The building was required to meet certain requirements and it had to be within our budget. when we finished our design we where required to present to real architects and they would give us constructive feedback.
Before we designed the STEM building we designed a house that used many sources of solar energy to be save energy and save money. When we where designing the Stem building we decided to incorporate many of the same solar devices to be energy efficient.
When we were asked to use the given requirements we Incorporated all of them. Some of those requirements were the building had to have ten classroom spaces, the building had to be able to fit three hundred and thirty students at a time and we were given a ten million dollar budget.

During this project we decided to make two models, one was a physical model and the other was an electronic model. unfortunately our electronic model was unable to be complete so we could not present it.
The large rectangular room is a room that is just general space. This room contains separate WiFi and vending machines. The two bottom middle classrooms are chemistry class rooms. These rooms are set up for chemistry and have the necessary materials for chemistry. The top two middle classrooms are biotech classrooms and the layout of the classroom is set up for biotech. The two classrooms on the outside right of the model are general classrooms.

This is the second story, this story contains a very large storage for all teachers to use. The second story also contains an outdoor area and fountains.
Overall, this lab project was very fun and challenging. One of my group members and I where challenged with the amount of work we had to do because of the absence of our other two group members, but when our other group members where here they contributed equally. I learned how to work better in a group and got the work distributed more evenly.
